I've always felt the need to experience corporal punishment from a woman. I couldn't begin to explain why but I do remember feeling the cravings from a very young age. I've always been slightly nervous about writing a review because sessioning is such an intensely personal experience. However after a recent session with Mistress Alana of North London I just have to share the joy!

A few words of context: I first met Mistress Alana on the way to a UKM munch and I knew almost immediately that I'd like to approach her with a view to sessioning. She was friendly, down to earth and incredibly easy to talk to, although a friend tells me I was tongue-tied. She had an aura about her that made me grin. Her website was already well known to me and had answered most of my questions. I wrote an email a few days later and soon after we sessioned. I never looked back, and I haven’t stopped grinning.

I didn't come to sessioning with any specific fantasies or interests, just a vague idea that I was a masochist and needed to give up control on as many levels as possible, including choice of activities. However, I'd got it into my head that somehow I wouldn't be pulling my weight in a play relationship if I couldn't identify specific desires and aspirations, and this worried me. Fortunately Mistress Alana took this in her stride from day one and gradually I've learnt to find the words to talk about some aspects of the experience, though not yet all. She is a magnificent and intuitive guide.

Mistress Alana’s playspace is an Aladdin’s cave of implements and larger apparatus; I’d describe the atmosphere as tantalizing and relaxed rather than ‘dark’ or sinister. I hadn't made any requests in advance of the latest session, and I didn't know quite what to expect. I knew that it would probably involve CP and that most delightful of four-letter words beginning with ‘c’, the cane (Mistress Alana is well-known for her prowess with this implement: the first time we played and I felt her cane, she said 'oh, you don't like the cane, do you?' Well, I do now! ). I knew too that I'd probably have my limits pushed in a number of different activities that might include NT, genital torture, Eros Tek, T.E.N.S, dragon tongue, little quirt and flippin' big 4ft quirt, wax and ice, bondage and so on through the, ahem, staples of BDSM, and that’s even before we get to chilis, figs and suchlike. I was also well aware that Mistress Alana has a devilish liking for creating challenges not merely by turning up the heat / force, but by adding in elements that make settling into the pain / discomfort much more difficult. I know that might not suit everyone's taste but if I want to be comfortable I can sit at home with a DVD or three. Mistress Alana also has the uncanny gift of guiding my head into serious sub mode and this is something I've learnt to treasure: it means I'll go anywhere I'm led.

The CP was deliciously varied. I'm not a pure CPer, but as we moved through floggers, paddles, straps and other implements I was finding that I was, in my head, begging for more. At the same time it felt as though all the energy Mistress Alana was putting into the strokes was being transferred to me so that I was redoubling my efforts to keep up - but in a dynamic, not a clinging-on-for-dear-life kind of way. I don't know if that makes sense but it was really exciting. I'm still getting my head around it. And that was before the cane!

We moved seamlessly through a number of activities, some more sensual, and one which had me floating away. I was soon brought back, and yet the floating sensation, the endorphins, didn't subside. In this session I learnt that just because I'm floating doesn't mean that I'm anaesthetized against other sensations, in this case the impact of a heavy quirt! It was an incredible head trip, and the quirt marks were fantastic. At intervals a few words from Mistress Alana would correct my attitude / demeanour / stance, and I found these reminders a real help psychologically. When you’re having to concentrate quite hard, inevitably at moments the brain lets its guard down and all of a sudden you’re vulnerable… even more vulnerable than being naked, restrained and blindfolded! A very funny thought came into my head and I started grinning stupidly and tried to stifle a laugh ... too late! Mistress Alana demanded to know what was so funny and squeezed the confession from me... cue laughter on both sides, until I regained my composure in a hurry. It's important to me that no matter how intense the session, there is always space for laughter. That doesn't mean that laughter is necessary (though Mistress Alana did grin audibly on a couple of occasions when I yelped), but I need to know that the underlying relationship is sufficiently relaxed for laughter to be possible... again, if that makes sense. You can laugh with Mistress Alana, and she'll also take you to the best kind of tears if that's your thing.

By the end of the session I was well and truly on another planet. Mistress Alana was there to help me come down again, and eventually I got myself together sufficiently to thank her for a mind-blowing session.

A final word: as regular readers of the board will know, I'm not exactly a shrinking violet, although I have a submissive side that rarely gets an outing. One of the reasons that sessions with Mistress Alana work so well is that she is dominant. No pretence, no false airs, just the real thing. It’s also very obvious that she just loves what she does and her enthusiasm is infectious.

This review is written by a genuine woman for the benefit of other genuine women, particularly those who know they want to visit a dominatrix but have not yet plucked up the courage to do so.

So let me tell you about Alana. First of all, try not to be scared. There really is no need to be. Underneath the traditional domme outfit and incredibly uncomfortable looking high heels, is a normal, caring human being whose aim for the duration of your session is to make you happy and help you fulfil your fantasies.

Alana’s premises are spotless. I have seen her three times now and I have enjoyed trying some of her huge range of cp implements – we have had lots of fun and will have lots more in the future. That’s the thing about Alana. She can be the formidable headmistress I requested, but we also have fun, chats and giggles; it’s not all serious domination. For my most recent visit, I badly needed to try to offload some baggage from the past. I explained this to her and asked her to ignore my highly emotional state. We discussed my problems and Alana offered some words of wisdom. She is not, thank goodness, a therapist but her experience enables her to make suggestions and offer advice.

I knew that if I had any hope of offloading the baggage I had to be caned so severely that I would eventually not be able to take any more, but I also knew that I could not have the final say as to when the caning would stop. So we agreed that she would cane me in groups of six strokes. I would be able to ask her to stop, but there would be six more severe strokes to come after that point. She would also be able to stop if she could see that my bottom had had enough, but would give me the six additional strokes before doing so.

Alana suddenly became totally professional and slipped straight into her strict headmistress role. She did exactly as I had asked and caned me really hard from the very beginning. We carried on in school mode and reached the stop point at more or less the same moment. This was the best thing that could have happened as I had really not wanted to be the one to call time. I had done it – I had endured the severe school punishment that I had been craving for many, many years and I was so very happy !

Ladies, your fantasies, your needs, your desires, may be quite different from mine, but I am sure Alana can help you. When I first contacted Mistress Alana by email, I was immediately reassured by how understanding and professional her replies were, always prompt as well. As a newbie, this reassurance was vital and gave me the confidence to make an appointment. On the day of the session itself, I was incredibly nervous as you might expect. Mistress Alana was very welcoming and friendly from the moment she opened the door to the end of the session, going out of her way to help me relax and enjoy myself, talking me through the session (but not giving too much away), and breaking the ice with a bit of humour, although there were hints of sterner stuff I'm sure others have experienced.

I was lucky enough to session with Mistress Alana last weekend, with a very simple session request. Since I'm still new to BDSM I wanted an all-round introduction to cp, and to discover exactly where my 'limit' lay. Mistress Alana set about this request with a great flair and enthusiasm !

Mistress Alana, who has been favourably reviewed many times by others, hardly needs another raft of praise from me, but these two visits, I found exceptional. I contacted her by e-mail in the first place, some seven weeks prior to my arrival in UK and she gave me permission to send her a scenario of my ideas for the Session. I had known Mistress Alana for some years but had never previously Sessioned with her but one of her Specialities is JCP, which has been my fetish for a long time, and her experience is vast, and as I am 86 years old I needed someone of great competence to ensure that it was carried out effectively, the roleplay realistic, but without the severity that some younger offenders expect. For the last ten years my maximum has been 25 hard strokes, whereas now I am down to 16! Some would say that's not realistic JCP, but even in Singapore only three strokes is sometimes given!

Mistress Alana's new dungeon has been described by others and I need only say it is one of the nicest and best equipped for all the activities she performs. It is well lit, not one of those dark places which make you wonder when the cleaner was last around. On my arrival in London, I had rung her to confirm the appointment and pointed out that it was very cold to me, as I live in the sub tropics. She laughed and said she had read the thread on the MB about Mistresses with cold dungeons and that hers was centrally heated. At the appointed hour I arrived bringing two of the modern dragon canes, which are dead straight but not as dark in colour as the former ones, but just as densely cored. Bringing canes is by no means a requirement of a Visit to Alana, but merely a custom of mine and a severe Mistress cannot have enough o them!

Although it was six weeks since I had sent her my scenario Mistress Alana, without any reference to the written word went through it in roleplay, leaving nothing out but adding fierce little extras of her own, being stern and unforgiving as required. I had suggested that she should use an ordinary rattan, not one of the dragons that I had brought as it was some time since I had been caned. The strokes were well laid on, counted by the Mistress in advance and of course there was no question of a 'safe' word. Usually during JCP I find that by the fourth stroke you feel you will never get through the Sentence, but of course you do, there is no letting off! Her roleplay was magnificent and her accuracy immaculate, a really great caner. Later I tried out all her new equipment and including inversion on her wheel, well overstaying my one and a half hour appointment, having a cup of tea and a long chat with her. The marks she left were still black and purple on my second visit eleven days later and this time she used one of the dragon canes I had brought with me the first time. This time, having discovered that despite my age I could take a really good caning, she laid it on very much harder. I expect the marks will still be with me as a reminder for well over eight weeks. I am a heavy marker.

Mistress Alana is a lovely lady and a joy to be with. She is also a terrific Mistress. I really think I can say I enjoyed my time with her more than with any other Mistress in a career of over sixty years. And, by the way she is very much more attractive than she appears in any of the pictures on her excellent new website. I first had the pleasure of meeting this lovely lady back in lazy hazy summer days of July last year. I had first met Mistress Alana at a previous UKM Munch and had found her to be one of the most friendly and outgoing Mistress I had the pleasure of meeting. It was following on from that, that I took a look at her website and found that lovely smile beaming out at me that was it, I was “hooked”. As luck would have it a couple of weeks later I again had the pleasure of seeing Mistress Alana at the LFF. Having had a swift pint to calm the nerves, I took the plunge and asked if I could have a chat with her with a view to sessioning. We then spent the next 10/15 minutes discussing my particular desires and what it was that I wanted and she explained from her side what she would expect from me in terms of tribute and time.

Needless to say a date was fixed and a trip down to Wood Green was soon to follow. The premises at the time were small but did not detract from a truly wonderful session. As a result of that session, I have now visited Mistress Alana on a fairly regular basis and have particularly enjoyed her new premises which are literally no more than two minutes walk from Turnpike Lane Tube.

Her new premises allow her to have the luxury of a Spanking Bench, St Andrews Cross, Stocks, and a lovely Bondage wheel and still there is more than adequate room for her latest addition a “throne”. If it is your so desire or may be Mistresses you may sit at her feet and worship those feet that have just spent the last hour or more walking around in leather clad boots with six inch heels and oh what joy that can be.

My main fetish area is that of CP which just so happens to be one of this delightful ladys passions. Upon walking into the dungeon you can not but notice the array of canes standing in the corners, straps, paddles and tawses all neatly hanging from hooks on the wall. It is not long after I enter the dungeon that I find myself face down, strapped and cuffed to a nicely padded “whipping” bench. Once over the bench Mistress will always provide you with a very good warm up (unless requested otherwise) before moving on to use various paddles, tawses and canes. I personally go down the line of the harder the better and needles to say I have never failed to come away with a thoroughly “sore” arse. Whilst that is my desire there is no doubt in my mind that she would be just as good in introducing a novice into the wonderful world of CP without ever going beyond that persons pain tolerance. The use of a safe word was spoken about during my first visit but is something I have never felt the need or want to use. Throughout the whole session Mistress Alana will always check on your well being which for any newbie wishing to session for the first time is one of the most important factors you always think about.

There are many other aspects of play that she is also so very good at, but which I think should always remain between a Mistress and her sub. I dont think you would be disappointed in any aspect of play so long as you have clearly discussed and agreed beforehand what is and is not acceptable.

In summing up I decided to board the “Roller Coaster” aptly named Mistress Alana and I can honestly say that all my trips have resulted in many a high, some great twist and turns and the only low being the end, all of which have left me looking to come back and board again.

If you to want a great BDSM experience whether you be a novice or an experienced player a like then you could do a lot worse than give this talented lady a call. I am sure you will have no regrets. She is fun loving person and a great credit to the Pro Domme world.

I've been sessioning with this devilishly delicious Mistress each three to four weeks over the last 20 months. A first visit to her new "studio-dungeon" near Wood Green prompts me to write a review.

Roughly half a mile due South from her previous premises, the new dungeon is a short walk from Turnpike Lane tube .Travelling by car, I used a convenient multi-storey just off the High Road, there is also off-road parking nearby.

The easy to find top floor premises are attractively furnished, with light, wood flooring thoughout. She met me wearing her black rubber dress and a smile at the top of the stairs.

The welcoming room is very spacious. After I'd used the new bathroom, we shared a warm drink as we got started in transforming me into the dappy maid that I am. Maids should do their own make-up, I suppose, but the truth is I do look heaps better when she helps, and I always enjoy looking down as the mascara goes on - she has a great figure!

It was with some trepidation that I was led to the new dungeon room. In addition to her famous bench, (is the word "altar" more appropriate?) there was a pristine St Andrews Cross, new Stocks, and a Wheel on show. After being allowed a quick look at myself in one of the many full-length mirrors, it was time to bend over and be strapped down, and things became serious.

This Mistress is a true artist with a cane, and I love to feel her "painting". There is no doubt she genuinely enjoys making her masterpieces. I swim to keep fit, so she has always been careful to ensure that any marks will all be covered by my trunks.

I won't describe any of the other activities in the very full hour and a half session, except to say that my only regret was not booking for longer. I left with my mind and body aglow.

After all the positive feedback I had from this board, (Thank you ) I recently plucked up courage to visit Mistress Alana. This was my very first visit to a Domme and I was shaking like a leaf when I rang the door bell.

There was no clock watching at any time. I'm sure there are many other ladies just as good, but I doubt there are any better.

I had been sessioning with a pro Domme for a year and she was brilliant but I wanted to visit another for a lot of reasons although I was very scared to do so. I contacted Mistress Alana and she took time to reply to my emails and listen to my fears. One of the things I asked was that She did not use the cane, She said no problem She would talk to me before the session and anything i did not want to do I just had to say.

I have said it in both my reviews but when Mistress opened the door i felt at ease. She got me a drink sat me down and because i was nervous, went through a list of things to see if thy were ok.

I was happy for the session to start (don’t like to put details in review) and we did many thinks cp wise. Mistress Alana took me to the limit but I was never scared because She told me the moment I wanted to stop she would, I just had to say but she did encourage me to take just a bit more which I did.

I have visited Mistress Alana five times and each time felt safe and left with a smile on my face and the second visit because she talked to me about it was happy for Mistress to use the cane (should have let her first time and fell guilty about that) but She started of very slow and she told me all I had to do was say stop and she would but again encouraged to take just a bit more.

A very good intro for a newbie thankyou Mistress Alana

I decided to visit Mistress Alana after reading her reviews and, after phoning to make an initial enquiry, booked an appointment for the following weekend.

On arriving at Mistress Alana's North London chambers I was pleasantly surprised to find that, unlike some other Mistresses' facilities, there was no waiting room and I was greeted by Mistress Alana in person. She led me initially into a lounge area, where she offered me a choice of refreshments while we chatted about my session requirements.

Mistress Alana has a very relaxed attitude and, although I was obviously nervous to start with, her friendly manner soon made me feel more at ease.

Having obtained as much information as she thought necessary, we then proceeded to Mistress Alana's dungeon area which, while not the biggest I have visited, is very comprehensively equipped.

My particular preference is CP and Mistress Alana dealt with me in a most skilled and accurate way - her use of the cane is particularly impressive.

Having visited other Dommes in the past who have left me alone for periods of time, I found that the only time Mistress Alana left me was for about 30 seconds after which she returned with some ice which definitely reached the parts the cane hadn't!

To sum up, I would strongly recommend a visit to Mistress Alana whom I am sure would be equally skilled when dealing with a novice as well as the more experienced like myself.

Having just made my first visit to Mistress Alana I could not resist writing a short review of her many talents.

I had previously only heard about and read good reports of this lovely lady so I almost felt as if I new her before we met. Well all I can say is that all the reports are absolutely true.

Mistress Alana has a warm persnality and I felt instantly relaxed in her presence. I would prefer not to go into great detail about the kind of session I experienced-suffice it to say that it exceeded my expectations in every way.

I have just returned from a session with Mistress Alana and thought I'd share a few thoughts while my bum is still nice and tender. Usually my sessions are for maid training but for a change I thought I'd go for standard domination.

This gave me my first experience of prolonged CP which I won't forget in a hurry - for all the right reasons.

Mistress Alana warmed me up at the perfect speed so that for most of the session I felt that I would have to call a halt before too much more. In summary I couldn't have hoped for a better introduction to proper CP. To any CP virgins out there who are thinking of taking the plunge, I'd definitely recommend a visit to Mistress Alana. Finally I agree with marco32 when he says that Mistress Alana's web-site photos don't do her justice.

In London on a course recently I decided to sample a London Mistress. From a short list I selected Mistress Alana, purely on the basis of her prompt and friendly response to my E-mail.

I did not know what to expect, from previous experience the results can be mixed. I can honestly that this was one of the best decisions I have ever made.

She greeted me, in her North London location, in black PVC thigh length black boots and stockings, rubber skirt and black top. Alana is tall with legs you would die for.

Unfortunately, I did not want a marking session and she paddled me OTK, strapped me to a bench and paddled me harder, then paddled and caned my hands. I asked her to take the Cat to my back. She is very powerful and can imagine that I would really suffer had I wanted a more active session.

Alana then allowed me to worship her gorgeous feet and shapely legs. Unlike the majority of Mistresses she actually has a warm and friendly personality a joy to be with.

I have just visited Mistress Alana for the first time and thought I would post my comments. I have to say that after some of the stories I had heard about London Mistresses, I was a little skeptical.
